Relay for Life

Relay for Life was this past weekend. Tracy and I got to the fairgrounds just before 8 a.m. Saturday morning and did not leave until Sunday morning around 10. It certainly felt like it lasted much longer than just 24 hours, but in the end it was worth it, our team raised $3000 :) The theme this year was Safari, we did a play off of the Madagascar movie. We were "Madatcancer" :) We had a hut with the madagascar characters on it among other decorations. This year we walked in honor of Hannah Cowgill who had suffered from a brain tumor and who is recently cancer free! God is so good! :) Tracy made an awesome sign with Hannah's picture on it, which so many people stopped to check out. It was a long and exhausting yet wonderful day!

Ahhh... summer has arrived!

Doesn't this photo SCREAM summer (literally!)

We have been blessed with the opportunity to use our Uncle's pool anytime we'd like to, and believe me we've been taking him up on his offer quite often! The kids are constantly asking to go swimming, to tell the truth mom's been asking just as much as they have :-)

Taylor is getting so much better in the water, she's still not quite ready for the deep end but she is getting there. She will actually go all the way under now (which is huge for her!)

Caleb is making progress too, he will now go in the water ( up to his waist!) Which is big stuff since last year he wouldn't even get in the pool whatsoever :-)

Maybe by the end of summer they will have turned into little fishes....

Chloe

Chloe and I went to the park last week for a picnic. I brought the camera along (of course) I took so many pictures, but most of them were of the back of her head or with her looking away! She is so busy that I rarely get a good picture of her anymore. And when I say "Good" I mean one where she is actually looking at the camera!

But this photo nearly left me breathless....
